My children have a literal menagerie of stuffed animals including a few good old Teddy Bears. Some of our favorite ways to play include reading to our bears and doctoring them up at the Teddy Bear vet.
Jez Alborough wrote one of my all time favorite teddy bear books, Where's My Teddy?, about a sweet little boy who misplaces his beloved bear in the woods. The book is fantastic for teaching rhyming, opposites, and real vs. pretend. Hop on over to my Helium article for some great educational activities to go along with a reading of the book.
How did you celebrate National Teddy Bear day today?
